i’ve heard about this awhile back and have been waiting and lookin forward to it. reminds me of Jodie Foster’s film sort of and Amanda wow! …. thats all :)
Looks good. I hope it plays before the new Twilight.
She’s really strong on adrenalin drama/thriller. Much more than I expected.
Some physical transformation too. Looks like she lost some weight for this role appearing gaunt and tired. Channeling a little of Christian Bale’s dedication.
Now we know why she looked really thin during the RRH premier.
She really committed on this one.
She looks the same as she always does in this trailer. Gone was filmed in May and June, and we saw paparazzi pics during that time. She never looked like her weight had changed. Her make up is a little different here, and she’s being filmed a little differently, but that’s all I noticed.
The character is supposed to be stressed and sleep deprived. She definitely looks that way in the trailer. She is known to be kind of a chameleon though.
I find the music to be a little over bearing in the beginning. Too bassy on the get go. Would have preferred a softer build up.
The Jodie Foster reference is starting, but I don’t recall Foster ever portraying true despair. There is always a level of stoicism in all her characters which can sometimes feel harsh.
Amanda can emote true despair like nobody’s business. The tragedy of total lose in just a few seconds.
Even if this does not do well, it should make a great padding on her resume.
This is another film from Summit, and the feedback online is similar to the initial feedback about Letters to Juliet. People are saying that they feel like they’ve seen the movie after watching the trailer, and that they can tell who the killer is by using voice comparison. After watching the trailer, it looks like Summit is once again giving too much away in the previews. It does look like a good movie, hopefully it will open well, for February.
In Time went over $105 million worldwide on Monday. It has a pretty good chance to pass $110 million, which would make it a modest success, as long as it does decently on DVD and VOD, which I think it will.
Amanda and JT were on a Spanish variety show promoting In Time, and the appearance is broken up into six clips, shown on the show’s site. I haven’t been able to post links recently, so search for El Hormiguero on Google, or you can paste http://www.antena3.com/programas/el-hormiguero/ into your browser. The clips with Amanda and JT are on the bottom of their front page right now. Remember to look for all six, they are all pretty good.
Happy 26th Amanda!
