But she is now a confirmed Anglophile and is loving life over here. ‘Even though I never went to Britain for the first 21 years of my life, it just feels like home,’ said the 24-year-old actress, singer and model.

‘Dominic lives in [London’s] Primrose Hill and I like to run down the hill and around Regent’s Park.

That’s just the best park in the world. And my two best friends are Rachel McDowell and Ashley Lilley, who were in Mamma Mia! with me.

And unlike female stars such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan – who are happy to play the bisexual card, she admits that her on-screen kiss with Megan Fox left her cold.

‘I had to kiss Megan in Jennifer’s Body and it was not very comfortable at all,’ she told Glamour magazine.

‘I did it because that was what the story was all about but it’s awkward being with a woman in that way, trying to make it look natural. I had to do it again with Julianne Moore in Chloe and somehow it was easier with her but it still felt really strange.’

Fans will also be pleased to hear she is unlikely to go off the rails, unlike her Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan.

‘Being out of control is an issue for me,’ she said. ‘I’m a little anxiety-ridden.

Therefore I can’t really smoke a joint. I can’t even have a hit. One little inhale and I get so dizzy.’
